Thinking about starting a blog is a lot different from actually doing it. When I was deciding to start a blog I had all kinds of wonderful ideas. I thought of a great blog title and I convinced myself that I was finally ready to take the leap. When I went to sign up, it was just like trying to get a new e-mail account. Every name that I entered was already taken. After several attempts I finally stumbled upon One Million and Counting.
I actually really like this name. One million is a large number (just like the number of people who are starting new blogs every day). It also represents the many things that I would like to do some day. I’ve finally realized that some day will never come unless I take action now.
We don’t usually have extra time in our lives. Life usually takes over and we often scramble just to keep up. I’m determined, however, to make time for the million things that I have been waiting to do. I don’t have to do them all at once, just one small thing at a time.
I hope you will join me on this quest. I plan to explore new interests, uncover some old hobbies and make time to have some fun. Perhaps some of my ideas will spark an interest in your life.
